How old do I need to be to get tattooed?

• Minimum 18 years old.  No exceptions.

Do you take walk-ins?

• Yes! Saturdays from 12-5pm. If you see the sandwich board out front, feel free to walk in anytime. We can't guarantee we'll be available to tattoo at that moment, but would love to meet you and set something up.

How do I book a tattoo?

• Contact the artist directly.  Include all details of your tattoo (size, placement, color or black/grey etc) and attach reference images.

Should I book a tattoo consult first?

• This is totally up to you.  Consults can be done in person or through email.  If you know exactly what you want, feel free to book your tattoo without a consult.  Some tattoos will require an in person consult (ex. fitting a tattoo between existing tattoos).

Can I bring a friend to my tattoo appointment?

• For sure! We want you to be comfortable and enjoy yourself.  Keep in mind we're a cozy little tattoo shop, so may not have space for your whole crew.

What should I bring to my tattoo appointment?

• Water, snacks, sweatshirt, pillow or anything else that will add to your comfort while getting tattooed.

What should I not bring to my tattoo appointment?

• Your favourite clothing, shoes or jewelry.  Although we always work as cleanly as possible, ink drips and splatters can happen.  Tattoo pigments do not come out of clothing in the wash.

How much does a tattoo cost?

• Price estimates are not always possible or exact - it depends on the size, detail, placement on the body and whether it’s color or black/grey.

Do I need to pay a deposit for a tattoo?

• Maybe, but that'll depend on which artist you book with.  The deposit will go toward the cost of your tattoo.  If you don’t show up to your appointment, you lose the deposit.  If you can’t recall the time of your appointment, check your messages!

What methods of payment do you accept?

• Usually cash & e-transfer.  Some artists accept debit/credit. Your tattoo artist will tell you which method of payment they prefer.

Where is Moniker Tattoo Parlour located?

• 103 Fourth Ave on the 3rd floor, above Co Oi Kitchen.  Walk right up to the 3rd floor and come on in!

Is there parking?

• Free street parking is 2 hours max on Fourth Ave.  There's a pay parking lot located on Third Ave at Bank Street.
